A heritage of noble craft
Founded in 1972 in Paris, Empire's Knight is a quiet rebellion against the disposable. We measure success in decades.
"A house becomes a home when it begins to remember." — House Manifesto
Five decades ago, our founder Maître Henri Laurent set down his tools at the doors of a modest atelier on Rue Royale. He carried with him an idea so simple it bordered on rebellion: that furniture should be built to outlive its first owner.
What began with a single workbench is today a maison of one hundred and twenty artisans, joiners, gilders and upholsterers. Every dovetail is still cut by hand. Every brass fitting is still hammered, brushed and patinated in our own forge. And every finished piece carries an engraved mark of its maker — a small, permanent promise.
Our pieces grace residences, embassies and private clubs across thirty-five countries. They are inherited, restored, and rarely sold. That, to us, is the measure of luxury.
